"The restaurant was absolutely packed when we arrived , clearly a popular spot! We discovered it through Little Red Book and made a reservation over the phone. By the time we got there at 6:30 PM, our table was already prepared. The setting has a casual coffee shop vibe, with both indoor and outdoor seating. We were seated outdoors, and even though it was a rainy day, the atmosphere still felt cozy. Despite the crowd, everything was well-managed and lively. We ordered around 8 to 9 dishes, and every one of them exceeded our expectations. The food was served surprisingly fast, and overall, everything tasted great. If we had to mention one thing, it would be that a few dishes were slightly on the salty side ,but nothing that ruined the experience. Our total bill came to just over RM350, which we found quite reasonable for the variety and quality of food we enjoyed. One interesting part of the experience was the open kitchen. While sitting outside, we could see the kitchen staff busy at work cooking, moving swiftly, and even almost fighting lol. It was fun to watch the action while enjoying our meal in a much calmer space. Overall, it was a great dining experience, and we’ll definitely be back again"

"Had dinner there with my buddy from Kuching. We had steam fish head with ginger and soy sauce. My friend was so impressed by the quality and taste. Had marmite riba and fried veg. All the food tasted like home cooked. The quality had been able to maintain since I last been there, a couple of years ago. Highly recommended."

"This was shockingly amazing. The tofu-fish puff was so so good. The fried chicken in a yam basket was delicious. The fish head curry was amazing. It’s great to go with a big group so that you can share everything. We ordered so much food and it was so good. Around one dish per person is about the right amount of food. There’s a bathroom."

"First time being here brought by friend for their steam Fish Head with Ginger paste and other dishes. They offered indoor with air conditioning and outdoor which may bit humid. Their dishes mostly Chinese cuisine and the dishes we ordered are quite delicious. The place packed with people during the dinner time. You may find this place a bit difficult to find parking."

"This is an old establishment. They have a standard menu and the food is great. We see a twosome but we ordered 3 dishes. A bit too much but the food was excellent. We brought our own Chinese tea and they were very attentive to refilling with hot boiling water. The portions are reasonable. We had honeyed pork ribs ( deboned ), Assam fish head curry and their signature deep fried aubergines. Difficult to find parking. Just GRAB there."

"Revisit this shop after a long hiatus. Dinner at 7.30om with a group of friends and they are still packed to the brim. Place could be noisy due to its cramped environment. Ordered 7 dishes 1. Fried chicken wings - juicy and succulent 2. Yam with sweet n sour pork - new refreshing pairing 3. Kangkung belacan - our Malaysia staple vegetable dish. Would be better served in a claypot for additional oomph. 4. Fried brinjal - my favourite, salivating good when fried with spring onion n minced pork. 5. Fried long beans - surprising new discovery as the abundance of fried garlic really complements the vege. 6. Signature taufu - more like fish cake mixed with taufu definitely a children's favorite. 7. Honey glazed pork rib - tender meat coated in honey, ok dish for me. Service was ok and portions were good. Definitely a good place for dining if you crave for no fuss style cooked food. Parking really is a hassle."

"The food was delicious—especially the curry fish head, which had the perfect curry flavour. The ingredients were fresh, and the portions were generous. The service was ok, and the staff was friendly, though they seemed a bit rushed during the dinner rush. The ambiance was cozy but the restaurant was a bit noisy. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely come back. Rating: 8.5/10"
